WHAT WE DO
Equipment cylinders, eyes, blades, buckets…we work on it all. If you have equipment that’s sustained damage in the field, you’re in good hands. We can make the toughest repairs and make them last.
Our mobile line boring services provide machining on equipment where disassembly or removal from the job site would be costly and time consuming. Our system can bore diameters up to 24”.
We offer a range of mill and lathe based machining services in our shop that can repair or re-manufacture parts to factory. We can also build new parts to custom specifications.
WHO WE ARE
Founded by Craig Davenport, Appalachian Boring is a family owned line boring, machining and specialty welding company located near Greenville, SC offering mobile and shop based services to the Upstate and surrounding Southern Appalachian region.
With 20 years of field experience, Craig’s passion for working with metal has taken him to refineries and plants around the world as a specialty welder, where his knowledge of metal properties, mirror and tube welding has led him to complete projects others often considered impossible.
He established Appalachian Boring in 2022 to focus on further refining his craft by combining his knowledge of metal with a passion for precision machining, working on heavy equipment and being self-employed.
